Ingredients
  • 4 Ounces Chedz Sticks (Any Flavor) If Gluten Free, use Gluten Free Chedz. 1 bag has approximately 40 sticks.
  • 13-14 Slices Bacon (Thin) Thick slices of bacon may work but our recipe calls for regular cut
Instructions
  1. There are two options of making this recipe: Microwave or Oven
  2. If choosing microwave option, line 2 paper towels on a microwaveable plate.
  3. Cut bacon pieces in approximately 2" in length (approximately in 3rds for each strip of bacon)
  4. Wrap each Chedz carefully with bacon and put on paper towel (seam side down). Approximately 15 Chedz wrapped bacon sticks will fit on a plate without crowding or touching. Prepare two additional plates with paper towels if using the entire 4 oz Chedz bag.
  5. Microwave on high for about 7-8 minutes (microwave ovens vary so watch it carefully after 6 minutes. It will be done when bacon is crisp but not burnt. The Chedz will be very soft as it is soaked in the bacon grease. Carefully take the plate out of the microwave and let it cool and the Chedz will crisp up. Enjoy it plain or with your favorite dips.
  6. If using an oven, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil or use a wire rack (line the baking pan below the rack with foil for easier clean up). Follow the preparation steps above. For oven baking, the tips of the Chedz can get a little brown. When wrapping the bacon, try to cover the entire Chedz sticks.
  7. Put the Chedz wrapped bacon pieces on the baking pan. Bake for approximately 15 minutes. Take out and let it cool to crisp up.
