Instructions
  1. Chop pecans (you can also put in food processor). Toast chopped pecans in oven at 275 degrees for about 10 minutes watching it closely so it doesn't burn. Set aside for later.

  2. Crush Chedz into crumbs (you can also put in food processor). Set aside for later.

  3. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, and dressing mix. You can also mix in a food processor.

  4. Form into one large ball or two smaller balls.

  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.

  6. Take the cheese ball out of refrigerator and shape. Roll in the chopped pecans. Then roll in the Chedz crumbs.

  7. Decorate the cheese ball.
    -Put the pretzel twist in the ball as the neck
    -Using spare cream cheese, dip chocolate chip pieces to make the eyes
    -Using spare cream cheese, dip candy corn to make the beak
    -Using the Chedz sticks, make the feathers
    -Using the thin pretzel sticks, add the additional feathers

Chocolate Chedz

Instructions
  1. Add 1/4 tsp coconut oil to the chocolate chips

  2. Microwave on high in 30 second intervals until melted. Stir until chocolate and oil are combined.

  3. Dip a Chedz stick in the chocolate. If you choose to fully dip the entire stick, use a chocolate dipper or fork to drain excess chocolate. If you only partially dip the stick, drain the excess chocolate portion. Place chocolate Chedz on parchment paper. Repeat until all sticks have been dipped.

  4. Sprinkle sea salt on chocolate Chedz. Put in the refrigerator to set. It is recommended that the chocolate Chedz is stored in the refrigerator if not fully consumed.


Recipe Notes

Variations can include:

  • Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chedz
    • 1. Add peanut butter to the tops of each Chedz sticks
    • 2. Refrigerate the Chedz sticks and peanut butter to harden (about 10-15 minutes)
    • 3. Take the cold Chedz covered peanut butter sticks and follow the above recipe
  • Chocolate Chedz with Nuts
    • 1. Follow the above recipe and in place or in addition to sea salt, add favorite nuts of choice such as crushed pecans, almonds, etc.
  • Chocolate Chedz and Sprinkles
    • Having a kids birthday party?  Make festive Chedz by adding colorful sprinkles instead of the sea salt
  • Chocolate Chedz with Shredded Coconut
    • Add shredded coconut on top of the chocolate Chedz with or in place of sea salt

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Crumble Chedz into crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.

  3. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and ground black pepper in a large bowl. Add Chedz crumbs and stir until combined.

  4. Mix ground beef and chopped onions in the Chedz mixture and transfer mixture into a 9x5-inch loaf pan, mini bread loaf pan or slow cooker.

  5. To make the sauce (optional): Combine brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl; spread over meat mixture.

  6. Cooking instructions:
    -For 9x5-inch loaf pan: Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center, 1 to 1 1/4 hours. A thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

    -For mini bread loaf pan or regular sized cupcake pan: Bake for ~35 minutes.

    -For slow cooker, cook on low for ~5-6 hours.

  1. In a large bowl combine all ingredients with your hands until well combined. It may seem a little loose at first but the Chedz will absorb some of the liquid quickly.

  2. Form into 1 inch balls. In a large pan heat 2-3 tablespoons oil and arrange meatballs. Make sure they do not touch. Cook over medium low heat until firm turning once. You may have to do them in batches.

  3. Top with your favorite marinara sauce and serve with mixed greens. You can also add them to your favorite spaghetti for yummy spaghetti and Chedz meatballz. Also great over rice or quinoa!!!

Instructions
  1. Bake 20-24 tater tots in the oven at 400 degrees for about 18-20 minutes.

  2. Sautee onion in a skillet until cooked. Add ground beef or turkey and cook until done.

  3. Add 1/2 cup taco seasoning and 1 cup of cheese to meat mixture and mix.

  4. Crush Chedz into crumbs consistency with a rolling pin or food processor.

  5. Add tater tots on top and sprinkle with remaining 1 cup of cheese. Sprinkle with Chedz crumbs. Bake for 15 minutes in the oven until cheese is fully melted. ENJOY!

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with foil and spray cooking oil. Peel potato skins off and cut into fries shape.

  2. Put fries in a bowl and add olive oil and mix.

  3. Add salt and garlic powder to the fries and mix.

  4. Crush Chedz to crumbs consistency with rolling pin or food processor.

  5. Add Chedz crumbs to the fries and toss. Use hands or spoon to rub loose Chedz crumbs onto fries.

  6. Pour fries on baking sheet; separate them out so they don't stick together during baking. For softer fries, bake for 35 minutes. For crunchier fries, bake for 45 minutes. ENJOY with ketchup or barbecue sauce.

  1. This recipe will make a crunchy batter. This crunch batter recipe was adapted from: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/jeff-mauro/oven-fried-onion-rings-recipe.html

    For a softer batter and lower carbs, see below adapted by Hall Brands.
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place parchment paper on one baking sheet and set aside.

  2. Combine the flour and salt. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and buttermilk together. Add half of the flour mixture into the buttermilk and mix until smooth and thickened.

  3. Crush the Chedz into crumbs consistency using a rolling pin or food processor.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine the Chedz, olive oil and remaining salt.

  5. Lightly and carefully dredge the onion rings in the flour, then buttermilk batter, and finally the Chedz mixture. Arrange on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake until golden brown, watching carefully to ensure that Chedz crust does not burn; about 10-15 minutes.

  6. For a lower carb option that yields soft but tasteful onion rings:
    INGREDIENTS:
    -1 onion
    -1 TBS olive oil
    -1 TSP salt or to taste
    -4 OUNCE Chedz Crumbs (Any Flavor)

  7. INSTRUCTIONS:
    1. Crush the Chedz into crumbs consistency using a rolling pin or food processor and put in a bowl.
    2. Add salt to Chedz crumbs.
    3. Place cut rings in a bowl and add 1 TBS and mix.
    3. Put oiled onion rings in the Chedz crumbs mix and carefully stir. Pat loose Chedz crumbs onto rings.
    4. Place each ring on the baking sheet.
    5. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10-15 minutes; ensuring that Chedz crumbs do not burn.

  3. Cut tofu in squares and put in 8X8 greased baking dish.

  4. Crush Chedz to crumbs consistency with a rolling pin or food processor.

  5. Put Chedz crumbs in a bowl.

  6. Add: Salt, Black Pepper and Italian Seasoning and mix.

  7. Rub Chedz crumbs over tofu and on the sides. Use your fingers or utensil such as spoon.

  8. Drizzle olive oil on top of Chedz tofu.

  9. Bake for 40-50 minutes. Enjoy!
